The Black-Scholes where the money went (L.S. Lowry colourway)

This is an attempt at a painting using all the media I can, and both abstract and recognizable characters from the Ginsberg poem.

I used Lowry's limited palette of a few colours to try to bring the different media together.

The Black-Scholes equation was a formula linked to the financial crash. It seemed amusing to me that something like the crash is reduced to a few symbols!

I have had a long look at Lowry, those bloodshot portraits of his really stop you in your tracks!

Peter Kendell's The Boy

Peter and Darren released a deluxe version of The Boy, which had some new stories which I thought were amazing and wanted to illustrate. The stories were in four sets hence the different styles for each, and Peter did a great job of giving each a distinctive feel.

I think it is still available on Amazon, I strongly recommend it!

Neal Stephenson's Snow Crash

Snow Crash, Neal Stephenson, Y.T.

Snow Crash, Neal Stephenson, Y.T.

The skate kourier Y.T. delivering the crumpled pizza. I thought this was a humorous start to the book. As a follower of skateboarding I wanted to see her attempting something normally suicidal, but this no comply into the pool is no problem with the wonderful RadiKS Mark II Smartwheels!
