Philip Pullman's His Dark Materials - Angels

I was stuck with how to present the angels, and asked Marshfire on the bridgetothestars.net forum for help and he suggested fur clad angels, which I thought fantastic. He said it looked as if they were wrapping themselves up in the skins as they had no daemons.

  1. Hello. Thanks for becoming a member of my blog. I'm very impressed with your illustrations. Is it a hobby or are you actually illustrating for the books? My girlfriend is a huge fan of the books and she's impressed. Some nice links to other blogs here too.

    Regards

    Jeremy

  2. Hi, I have to admit that when I saw the Bukowski spine on your front page and then the article about Iain M. Banks I was sold! More Pullman drawings are on flickr, just look for cloudpine, and these were my focus between '07 and last year, but are currently unpublished. I explain more in an interview by Marshfire on the Pullman site or at bridgetothestars.net, really appreciate your blog! Kindly, Chris

  3. Great - I'll check it out.

Yeah I love Bukowski and Banks, amongst others. I started my blog as a way to instill writing discipline. I'm writing a novel and short stories and a blog is good to keep your hand in. It all gets a bit much though when trying to hold down a full time job as well - but I'll get there...As you know - it's fun too...
