The Black-Scholes where the money went (L.S. Lowry colourway)

This is an attempt at a painting using all the media I can, and both abstract and recognizable characters from the Ginsberg poem.

I used Lowry's limited palette of a few colours to try to bring the different media together.

The Black-Scholes equation was a formula linked to the financial crash. It seemed amusing to me that something like the crash is reduced to a few symbols!

I have had a long look at Lowry, those bloodshot portraits of his really stop you in your tracks!
